About us
We provide bespoke services to adults with learning disabilities and autism in Staffordshire, specialising in day opportunities, holidays, respite, personal assistance and trips out. Our vision is to promote independence, inclusion in the community and to empower our members to live their lives to the fullest.
Our Services
holidays
We provide bespoke holidays from 3 days to 3 weeks anywhere in the world. Our holidays include Center Parcs, Walt Disney World Florida, Disneyland Paris, Las Vegas and cruises around Europe and Bahamas.
Friday Funday
Friday Funday is a group of Hub members and staff who every Friday venture out to various attractions to enjoy time with peers and encourage inclusion in the community.Our trips include: The Making of Harry Potter at Warner Bros. Studio London, Disney on Ice, Alton Towers, National Space Centre, Christmas Market, Go-Karting, Cadbury World, iFly Indoor Skydive, Crufts Show and many more.
Group Sessions
Our group sessions are planned on a person-centred approach and include activities such as: swimming, gym, basic skills, travel training, shopping, cooking, socialising and much more.
ZOOM
We offer a variety of Zoom sessions every Monday to Thursday evenings. Sessions include: Cooking, Makaton Signing, Movie Nights and personalised Bingo.
Personal Assistant (PA)
We offer a PA service to support our members with day-to-day living needs, to learn or improve new skills and to access social activities.
Respite
We offer our members a personalised respite service based on individual needs. We provide from 1 night to 14 nights away from home. This service promotes independence, develops skills and provides a much needed break for members and parents/carers.

"I love going to Florida and on holiday with Connections Hub. I can't wait for the cruise. I can't wait to see Mickey and Minnie. I really like doing the BBQ’s at Center Parcs and being with my friends. I enjoy going to the shows, I loved Disney on Ice, Masked Singer and Britain’s Got Talent. My favourite Fridays trips are Crufts, Comic Con, Pasta making, Cocktail masterclass, Afternoon Tea at Beauty and the Beast Cafe, the chocolate at Cadbury’s World, Go Karting, Fishing, Crown Green Bowls on Sports Days and VR Cricket. I love wearing my uniform, my chef jacket is my favourite. I liked going out for a Christmas Meal. On Thursdays I like cooking, going swimming, playing golf and crown green bowls, doing crafts.”

“I love the Friday trips, my favourite was the Indoor Sky Diving. I really enjoy chatting with my friends during the pub meals and pub crawls on Fridays. I like doing lots of activities with my Thursday group, I love the photography, cooking is the best and I like doing jobs. I have been to Las Vegas, Center Parcs, Disney Florida and I’m going on a Disney Cruise. My favourite thing in Florida was going on the rides and getting a good sun tan. In Las Vegas I enjoyed watching the shows and seeing the Las Vegas sign. I liked helping book the shows and activities in Vegas. In Center Parcs I enjoy cooking, all the fun activities, swimming and the walks. I have fun every Thursday night playing Bingo on Zoom. I like wearing my uniform as I look smart.”

"Well, what a difficult job!
Simply because I could write a whole novel about Connections - all excellent!
Trying to narrow it down, I think what Jacob enjoys the most is the opportunity to try so many different experiences with his fabulous friends!
From a parents perspective I think most importantly is the complete trust that Jacob is safe and happy at all times!
A very close second is his personal development; Jacob has grown in confidence and ability in all areas in the time he’s been with Connections!
The smile on his face when he puts on his orange t shirt is priceless!
Joining Connections Hub is the best decision I’ve ever made in respect of Jacob’s care!
